Aromatic Polyflora Honey is made from the nectar of many types of flowers predominately bloomed in spring and summer months. It is made when the nectar from plants are gathered, modified and stored in the honeycomb by honey bees.

It's colour is beige with yellow shadings. Smell is delicate, lightly floral. Taste is sweet and aromatically fruity. Aromatic Honey is high in antioxidants, a rich, smooth, natural honey taste. This type of honey is what the bees store to get them through the winter!

Bees are the Source

Our honey gets its start as flower nectar, which is collected by bees and stored in honeycombs.

Colour and flavour of honey varies from hive to hive based on the type of flower nectar collected by the bees.

From Harvest to Extracting

On average, a hive produces about 80 pounds of surplus honey each year - allowing beekeepers to remove the excess honey from the bee hives.

Beekeepers harvest honey by collecting the honeycomb frames and extract it by scraping the honey off!

Strain & Heat

Finally, the honey is strained to removed any unwanted particles. The honey is heated to smoothen the straining process without altering the natural composition of the honey.

After heating, the delicious liquid is bottled immediately. You can rest assured that nothing was added, from bee to hive to bottle. So Enjoy!
